Michael, a concierge at the Denver Renaissance Downtown City Center hotel, invited me to take a tour of their beautiful hotel. It was originally a bank when it opened. When Marriott bought it, they did a complete change to make it a hotel. What I like is that they kept many of the bank’s original features and used the safe’s doors as regular doors in some cases. It’s a unique historic hotel and has an elegant, modern style.
